The sacristy
It is a large room covered with a pavilion vault.
There are twelve small circular frescoes by Giordano Martelli containing Franciscan saints and scenes from the life of St. Francis.
Originally a painting of the Immaculate Conception was placed at the centre of the vault, but this was replaced by the tempera paintings of Elpidio Petrignani(1940).
The walls are covered by wardrobes and intricate wooden kneelers (to assist priest to prepare for, and give thanks, before and after Mass) carved by Brother Giacomo da Borgo San Sepolcro (1671).
